Shamblers Versus Sprinters

An argument between Joan and Wulfgar as to which type of zombie would be more frightening and/or effective at bringing down society during the Zombie Apocalypse.

A Shambler (sometimes "Classic Shambler"), is a slow-moving zombie, of the type typically found in seminal zombie movies such as George Romero's Night of the Living Dead and its sequels.

Classic Shamblers from Night of the Livng Dead.

A Sprinter is a fast-moving, revisionist zombie, found in newer films such as the remake of Dawn of the Dead.

Sprinters in action, from the new Dawn of the Dead.

Joan maintains that the Classic Shamblers are more terrifying because they're more likely to be disregarded until it's too late. Wulfgar contends that the Sprinters are far more deadly.
